About
The Identity Gang is a group of folks that found a common interest in user-centric identity and started meeting at events in 2004.
We have an active mailing list of over 400 people. If you would like to join feel free to just make a request of Paul, Phil or Kaliya. The list contents are not public but are available to the members of the list (for list members, here is a link to the archives).
We no longer keep a wiki list of all active participants.
We are a Working Group of Identity Commons - see our charter.
Mission
To support the ongoing conversation about what is needed for a user-centric Internet identity layer that supports the whole marketplace, especially individuals.
Events
The Internet Identity Workshop produces the main community conferences. The Identity Gang puts on smaller functions when the occasion arises.

Lexicon
- The Lexicon is one of our main projects. It was developed so we would have a shared vocabulary to discus user centric identity concepts in this community.
Identipedia
- Identipedia is a shared space where we can look at a range of definitions from a range of different communities. For example, if there are three different definitions of Trust from three different groups, all three will be listed along with a link to where the definition was drawn from.
